  • Cook Time : 8-10 hours low 4-6 hours high

Beef and Broccoli

  1. Combine broth, soy sauce and cider and pour in the crock pot.
  2. Add onion, brown sugar, and garlic.
  3. Stir in beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours (4-6 high)
  5. 1 hour before serving combine water and corstarch and mix well, no lumps.
  6. Stir cornstarch mix into the crock pot.
  7. Add broccoli and mushrooms cook on low for additional 60 minutes until broccoli is crisp-tender.

Serve with cooked rice.

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar

  • 8 oz mushrooms.
  • 16 oz. broccoli fresh or thawed
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch

    Oops…I also did fry up my mushrooms in a skillet before adding …I don’t think it really made much difference…

    I thought this recipe was pretty good although I did make a few changes, I used a green onion, added 2 Tablespoons of oyster sauce a splash of sriracha. I also steamed my broccoli and then added to the dish when the dish was done because I didn’t want it to get mushy. I do prefer the texture of the meat better when I make it in my wok but I husband liked it better in the crock pot. I believe it took approximately 4 hours. Thanks for the recipe Guys đŸ™‚
