Easy BBQ Chicken Tacos

  1. In order, place the chicken, onions, seasoning and sauce into the crock pot.
  2. Cover and Cook

1 hour before the end of the cook time, remove the chicken, shred it, and place back in the crock pot for the final hour of cooking. Don’t let your chicken overcook and dry out. You can easily cut this in half or add more to it to accommodate dinner. This is so very easy and tasty. Top with shredded cheese and cilantro or salsa. We’ve added a few pinches of smoked chipotle powder for a bonus flavor.

    Would this work with frozen chicken breasts & maybe a little less BBQ sauce to compensate for the extra liquid after the chicken defrrosts?

      Yes, you can use frozen and no need to cut back on the BBQ. Just use a little bit longer cook time. And it really wont be that much longer. 4-5 on high or 8-9 on low depending on your pot it may even be less time.
