Leftover Turkey Chili

  1. Add everything to the crock pot.
  2. Cover and Cook on high for 6 hours.

Be sure to hunch over the crock pot and pretend as though this is an extremely secret recipe. Serve with a spoonful of sour cream, tortilla chips or over rice.

  • 2 cups of shredded, cooked turkey meat
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped fine
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • 32 oz canned stewed, crushed tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can pinto beans, drained
  • 1 15 oz can black beans, drained
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup chicken or turkey stock
  • 1-2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
  • Pinch of sugar

    It smells so good! Had to have a taste and it’s really good. Great way to use left over turkey. It’s on my to make again list.

    I LOVED the clhili! I browned veggies before putting them in because I needed to shave off some time. It was a hit with the whole family.
